Not long moved into the area, thought we would give this place a try, wow! Cooked to perfection, portion sizes are excellent especially when you put the price into consideration. Staff are very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be returning. Also one happy doggy when he got his sausages

First time trying this place and its exactly what you want from a chippy. The gentlemen working there were lovely and the food quality was amazing. It was less than £12 to feed two of us! Definitely will visit again.

Closed when times on sign say it should be open. Its not open long anyway, but 10min b4 closing n all lights off n clearly not just missed it. Annoying, wont go out my way again to somewhere that might or might not be open. Nice snarky reply - like most ppl if i want to check if somethings open i google it. U didnt change ur hours on ur biz google details which takes about 60 seconds to do. Also the person who recommended u still actually said the mushy peas were " like marbles" and " i dont think he knew how to cook mushy peas" . So you see my 2 stars is actually quite restrained considering. U could have said oh sorry, we didnt think or missed updating our opening hours on somewhere people still use like google. Must be frustrating having a wasted journey, sorry for the disappointment but please give us a try in the future and im sure our food could win you round to giving us a better score--- see respectful professional customer service isnt rocket science is it.

Food: Great Food and large portion sizes, half the food isn't stuck to it either, always cooked well ! Staff: Two Friendly guys who always make you feel welcome, they ask about how you are, how family is and get to know their community and work like a well oiled machine, whether it's busy or a quieter day they'll always find a chance to ask how you are. Value: Compared to our old favourite and other places we've tried, it's extremely great value for money, it allows us to go back time and time again.

Neal and Rhys, what a team. Neal doesn’t look anything like Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, but he knows what to do with a fish. Always super friendly despite being rushed off their feet, fish is the best I’ve ever had and same with the chips, great portion sizes, honestly, best chippy in the North West.

Great traditional Chippy with two friendly guys who are experts at their trade. They treat all customers equally and aren't "cliquey" as so many similar shops do. I usually have my own fish and chips at home but when I want a real chippy tea, the same as I was raised on, I go here. 100%

Let's start by saying this is the best chippy around by a country mile. Go in, order your fish battered the way you like it, then stand back and watch the two guys behind the counter as they prepare your food. Well oiled machine, a symphony, a show of 2 people working in absolute harmony, it is amazing to watch. Then enjoy your chips

Im from Liverpool and moved to Burnley 3 years ago, tried every single chippy in the area and NOTHING compares to this place! Chips are proper good! Properly cooked very tasty and good portion size and bonus that the brothers that work there are so friendly and lovely! 100% recommend to everyone

I ve just been, I ordered one steak pud proper steak one steak and kidney.A portion of chips large peas large curry and a can .At seven pounds eighty it was a bargain .The food was excelent proper mushy peas no water and decent curry with proper cooked chips.I will definitely return .Cheers lads!

I am gluten free and although they cannot 100% say the chips are gluten free I have never had a reaction. I just avoid the gluten products

Best chippy in the area by far. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend if your thinking of wanting a chippy. Only slight downside but no big issue is it's cash only.
